End of year Exhibition....

I'm a bit disappointed in Level 1 - Fine Art;s exhibition compared to the other exhibitions going on. I don't think we prepared enough, we had no mini statements next to our work and the layout was a bit messy.
I also aren't happy about how many pieces I put in. I put in one and I wish I had put in more. Next year I will make up for this....

Anyways my piece :

My plan was to take a white board into town and ask them to write what they hate being labeled as, or what they get labeled as which happens frequently. I then displayed these images in different frames to add effect to everyone is different and the one frame that is completely different to all other frames has the image of a man that wrote 'normal' I've done this to make it stand out that normal is different. 

My family didn't quite understand the exhibition - they're very set in there ways and only seem to think art is old fashioned paintings.

End of the first year....

Seriously stressed now. I have so much to do and the end is VERY near. Oh and everything's going wrong..... but that's normal really when it comes to stuff like this haha! Staying optimistic.

Just don't know where to start....

I've been all marked and passed my first terms studio practice so now moving onto this term. So many idea's but just don't know where to start. So my plan is by this week at least have some photographs taken to be ready to print.
Plans.... plans.... plans....
I would tell you but I don't want to...

Oh but today, I bought 500 pieces of a4 glossy photo paper for £12.50. Just waiting 2-3 days for them to come in the post. YIPPEE.
Should last me to the end of term that should. :)
At least I have enough photo paper to print as many photo's to cover my wall as possible!

Poorly sick :(...

Was meant to go to an Artist Statement thingy today about my 1184 words I wrote about my lovely self.... But this didn't happen. Instead I spent my whole day with my head in the toilet being poorly sick.
Feeling a lot better now, been on the anti sickness tablets. Tomorrow I'm going to go for a little walk to take some photographs then put my mind into some essay writing and sketchbook work.

Stupidly proud of myself....

Even though I managed to put off writing this 1000 word artist statement for friday for as long as I could. I decided if I wanted to go out tonight, then I needed to start and finish it last night.....
WHICH let me add was possible. 1184 word artist statement DONE AND DUSTED.

Soooo tonight I can relax and focus on the alcohol consumption. Oh and Ryans birthday party.
